True Gospel is a southern gospel group consisting of 4 members all from in and around the Cumberland Gap area of East Tennessee. Being brought up in small mountain community churches, we quickly developed a love for the traditional “Mountain Music” we would hear Sunday after Sunday. Our group was officially formed in 2003 and began to sing at homecomings, revivals, and fairs throughout the Eastern part of the country. In 2005 we released our first CD, When I Reach Home, with The Eddie Crook Company on Morning Star Records. The Lord Will Provide was released nationwide as our first single, others soon followed. Powergrass Radio, a bluegrass gospel internet based radio station, listed True Gospel as the number one requested artist for the months of August and November of 2005. Since then the Lord has truly blessed us. We have recorded several CDs, traveled many miles and shared the stage with some of the best artist in gospel music today. We have had the privilege of singings along side of The Hoppers, The Primitive Quartet, Brian Free and Assurance and several other recognizable names. All members of True Gospel are Born Again Christians, with a genuine love for the Lord. We count it a blessing to stand night after night spreading the gospel in song. Our goal is simple: to share the message of God’s love and forgiveness wherever we go.
